Packeteer Specialist - Level I
3 Day Course
Description
This course provides an introductory look into how PacketShaper works. Students will learn how to setup and configure PacketShaper in different types of network environments and optimize configuration to reach network performance goals.
Topics covered include:
• Installation
• Rate Control
• Reporting
• Upgrading
• Troubleshooting
Upon completion of the class, students will be able to:
• Install and configure all PacketShaper models
• Create classification trees
• Analyze network performance
• Apply effective controls to network applications
• Report on performance improvements
• Upgrade software
• Backup and restore PacketShaper configurations
• Troubleshoot common PacketShaper issues
Prerequisites:
Students must have an understanding of network and general knowledge of application
behavior on Wide Area Networks.
