Entry Level LAN Engineer
The ideal candidate is an Information Technology Systems and/or Network Administration focused individual with experience in Windows NT, 2000 and XP, Windows Server 2000, 2003 & 2007, Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003, & 2007, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and Internetworking principles. The candidate should have the ability to apply this knowledge toward analyzing and understanding customer needs as well as developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Windows Server 2k, 2k3 & 2k7, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange.
- Must have excellent organization, time management and troubleshooting skills along with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and after hours availability a must
- Dedicated self starter who can work independently and in a team environment
- Understanding various Antivirus solutions.
Entry Level WAN Engineer
The ideal candidate is a Network Administrator or Network Engineer with experience in routing and switching protocols and technologies, VPN connection technologies, Network Security solutions, Firewalls, and Remote access. Applicant should also have a working knowledge of Windows NT, 2000 and XP, Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2007, Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003 and 2007, and Active Directory environments. The candidate should have a proven ability to apply this knowledge toward analyzing and understanding customer needs as well as developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and some server management tools.
- Familiarity with WAN technologies including routing and switching, firewalls, VPN solutions, Security and Remote Access
- Experience with Citrix server administration
- CCNA or CCNP preferred, but relevant experience with Cisco IOS acceptable
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2k, 2k3 and 2k7, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange.
- Excellent organization, time management and troubleshooting skills along with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
Work Environment:
The candidate will collaborate with the service and sales teams and meet with customers as necessary to develop and deliver solutions and complete service calls. Travel to customer sites will also be required.
